RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 5 positions available with possibility of temp-to-perm placement
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs
• BLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers
• Practice independently in basic medical surgical unit setting
