RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week with call requirements
• On-call responsibilities include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week
• Work as part of a 4-person team with 1:1 patient ratio in Cath Lab
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including left heart cath, right heart cath, TEEs, cardioversion, pacer implants, defibrillator implants, TILT, and stress tests
• Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedures experience AND 1 year Cath Lab travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, KY Rad tech licensure
• Must have RCIS and ARRT certification for KY
• Float to Cath Lab and OP Stress Test areas as needed
• Use Cath Lab equipment including GE, IVUS, VOLCANO systems
• Documentation through Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech
• Solid color scrubs required
• Work with new state-of-the-art Cath Lab and brand new EP equipment

This regional hospital operates a modern cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 Cath Lab suites featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The facility recently upgraded to new Cath Lab equipment in March 2023 and has brand new electrophysiology equipment. The hospital maintains high standards for cardiac care with specialized teams and advanced procedural capabilities for both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
