Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Special Procedures Tech - Radiology
Job Details:
• Work in Cath Lab (746) and Special Procedures (727) units
• 4 rooms with 1 patient per room
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room (16 total per shift)
• Night shift operates on-call team with 3 members per call team (7 total)
• Work with all GE equipment rooms
• Use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
• Preferred certification: RCIS
• Perform typical procedures including cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing
• On-call is frequent and must be flexible to adapt to unit needs
• Fast-paced environment requiring team player mentality and critical thinking skills
• Patient care focus with close-knit team environment
• Surgical scrubs provided by unit
• Daily huddle calls with emphasis on building relationships with Director, staff, and patients

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
