RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience required - most recent, at least 2 years
• Provide routine and complex cardiac care with ability to focus on long-range goals and plans
• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of clinical situations
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
• Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols
• Monitor for side-effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members and caregivers
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RN License in state of TX or compact required
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
• Complete annual competency verification requirements

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
