Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Special Procedures Tech - Special Procedures Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4 ten-hour shifts with call responsibilities
• Work in Angiography/IR Interventional Labs with 3 labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR)
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Work as part of 3-4 person teams (2 techs, 2 RNs - ideal staffing configuration)
• Operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Use EPIC Cupid documentation system
• Wear required uniform: navy blue and black for tech positions
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have critical care/angiography (IR) experience
• ICU/ER experience required
• Critical care drip management experience needed
• Angio/IR experience including stroke and trauma care required
• Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma procedures
• Work with high acuity patient population
• No floating policy applies

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
