Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Full-time position working 5 days per week
• Administer radiation therapy treatments and simulation with minimum supervision
• Treat outpatient and occasional inpatient populations, 15-20 patients per machine
• Perform 2-3 simulations per day
• Work with TRUEBEAM/VARIAN equipment, ARIA, VISION RT systems
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Must be graduate of AMA approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certificate with Texas Medical Board required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum one year experience in hospital or treatment center preferred
• Maintain accurate scheduling and documentation
• Assess patients for special needs and explain procedures
• Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel
• Perform weekly chart checks and rotate responsibilities
• Maintain professional behavior, dress, and attendance standards
