RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit
• Day shift position with 1:1 patient ratios
• Located on 2nd floor of Heart Tower
• Work in fast-paced environment with 3 operating rooms and 26 staff members
• On-call requirements average 4-5 days per month with 1 weekend per month
• EMR system: Meditech
• Scrub color/attire provided by unit
• May float to Main OR when needed
• Must have open heart and vascular surgery experience
• Must have operating room experience
• Required certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS
• Typical procedures include CABG, Valve Replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, ECMO, Angiogram, Fistulagram, Fistula Creation, and Lower extremity Bypass
• Work alongside skill mix of RN and ST with 4 each daily
• No night shift coverage
