RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2 years Med Surg experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Schedule varies based on department needs and includes weekends and holidays
• Facility has right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census
• Provide care to 54-bed medical unit serving diverse patient populations
• Treat patients with renal, hepatic, respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, psychiatric, and infectious diseases
• Handle high volume cases including cellulitis, COPD, diabetes, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia, and sepsis
• Care for patients aged 18 through geriatric population
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment with level 1 trauma center volume and pace
• Provide comprehensive nursing services using nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

This healthcare facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center serving a 500-mile radius between Sacramento and Salt Lake City.
