Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week on a 3x12 day shift schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Must have ARRT registration and MRI Registry required at time of hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum two years of on-site MRI training experience required
• Five recent years in radiologic specialties preferred
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologist with procedures
• Must demonstrate knowledge of MRI physics and ability to manipulate scanning factors
• Knowledge of contrast media dosage, precautions, and adverse reactions required
• Must understand magnetic field safety measures and 3D anatomy
• Work with various MRI scanning equipment and hospital computer systems
• Provide patient care for all age groups from infant to geriatric
• Extremely busy and fast-paced environment with high volume requirements
