RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities required
• Minimum 2 years experience in orthopedic, ophthalmology, and gynecology procedures required
• Prior travel experience mandatory - no local candidates accepted
• Must hold current RN licensure
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel
• Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Plan and anticipate safe delivery of care with leadership accountability
