RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Must have active nursing license in hand prior to submission
• Must be able to start August 3rd or later
• Work in 20-bed Intensive Care Unit with mixed medical and surgical patient population
• Variable patient ratios based on acuity: ECMO (2:1), post open heart surgery (1:1), critical ICU/devices patients (1:1), typical ICU assignment (1:2), stepdown assigned (1:3-4)
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have telemetry experience and ideally PCU or greater experience
• Preferred skills include experience with critical drips, ventilators, and prior ICU experience
• Work with advanced equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, Impella, IABP, CRRT, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP
• Use Sunrise EMR system
• Assist with procedures including central line insertion, arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, intubation, cardioversion
• Float to Progressive Care unit as needed
• Work every third weekend with no call responsibilities
• Must be organized but easily adaptable
