Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work on a 54-bed medical-surgical unit with dedicated ortho/spine floor
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 for RNs with RN/LPN team support
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Required to work at least one weekend within 4-week period (may be split)
• BLS certification required, ACLS optional
• Active RN license required
• Grey scrubs uniform required
• Work with equipment including Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, continuous pulse ox, specialty beds, wound vacs, chest tubes
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Floating within unit at facility's discretion
• Care for medical-surgical patients, orthopedic and spine patients, trauma patients, and psych medical hold patients
• Perform general medical/surgical procedures including post-catheterizations, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and procedures by interventional radiology
• Support hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Utilize advanced technology including bladder scanners, 12-Lead EKG machines, Teletracking, and various mobile applications

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
