Opportunity:
RN - PCU Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
• Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Epic charting system
• BSN not required
• Fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities

The facility maintains Level 2 trauma designation and utilizes Epic electronic health record system. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
