RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts with multiple shift options available
• Shift times: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (2 positions), 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (1 position), or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (1 position)
• Monday through Friday schedule
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• BLS certification required
• RN license in state of employment or compact required
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Work with minimal pediatric patients
• Cover various service lines including GI procedures, general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedic, neurology, robotics (XI, DV5, and ION), reconstructive plastics, and podiatry
• Cardiovascular experience is a plus but not required
• OR staff cover GI cases on call and during the week as facility does not have dedicated GI team
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• All requests for special days off must be submitted and approved prior to hire
