RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiovascular Surgery
Job Details:
• Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursdays are designated as call days only with rotating coverage
• 4-day, 10-hour shift model with rotating weekend call responsibilities
• Must stay until cases finish on day shifts
• Required to take cardiovascular surgery call
• Patient ratio of 1 patient per 2 RN and 2 techs during surgical cases
• Work as cardiovascular surgery circulating RN
• Perform procedures including CABG, femoral popliteal, carotid endarterectomy, valve procedures, and thoracotomy
• Operate open heart surgery cases and equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have registered nurse license, cardiovascular surgery experience, and OR experience
• Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
• Scrubs provided through the facility
• Must prioritize patient care and safety with empathetic and caring personality
• Follow hospital policies and unit guidelines

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
