RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Floating to Emergency Room and Medical Surgical departments required
• 2+ years ICU experience required
• Emergency Room and Medical Surgical experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
• Provide total ICU patient care with patient ratios of 1:2-3
• Work in 12-bed ICU unit
• No call requirements
• Holiday coverage required
• Float rotation system in place - when floating to ER, assist with call lights, medication administration, patient transport, IVs, and blood draws
• When floating to Medical Surgical, take full assignment of up to 6 patients or act as aide for up to 12 patients
• Use MedHost EMR system
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
• Auto offers only - no interviews required
