Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed according to established practices and standards
• Review prescriptions and diagnoses
• Act as liaison between providers and support staff
• Prepare equipment including immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices
• Maintain records, reports, and files
• May assist in localization of tumor and dosimetry procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety criteria
• Maintain required core competencies
• Comply with policies and procedures including dress code requirements
• Graduate of Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent required
• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
• IMRT experience and LDR/HDR experience preferred
• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) card required
• Must have New Mexico licensure upon hire

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
