RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips (failure results in contract termination)
• Care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients
• Manage non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc.)
• May float to Intensive Care Units, medical surgical units, and other hospital locations based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Hospital reserves the right to call off without penalty with 48 hours notice for low census
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment serving 500-mile radius
