RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Provide critical care for patients with heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, and other severe medical conditions
• Assess patient conditions and plan and implement comprehensive patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support interventions
• Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures
• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator settings and IABP as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications according to protocols
• Perform suctioning procedures as required
• Collaborate effectively with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving emergency situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate throughout care delivery
• Provide education and emotional support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients when assigned
• May occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients as facility does not have dedicated pediatrics unit
• May be required to float between Lander and Riverton campuses based on facility census needs
• Must have 2 years recent ICU RN experience in hospital setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC (must be American Heart Association certified)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
• Must hold Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
