Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week including late days
• Closed on major holidays and weekends
• On-call requirement: 7 days per 4-week schedule (one week of on-call per four-week schedule from Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM)
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Friday after hours until Monday morning 0700 call requirement when not doing Monday-Monday call schedule
• Holiday call requirement on rotational basis
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• One year of prior Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to function in the scrub role
• Work with 2 suites/labs handling 5-10 cases per day on average
• RN responsibilities include circulating, sedating patients, and completing documentation requirements
• Work with common procedures including diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, and Permacaths
• Use Siemens software and equipment with Epic charting system
• Surgical attire provided (lead not provided)
• General hospital orientation plus one week or up to 36 hours of department-specific orientation
• No floating requirements
• License hits must be disclosed at time of submission
