Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work strict night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 4-bed ICU unit with 1:2 nurse to patient ratios
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (TNCC and PALS preferred)
• ICU experience required - will accept first time travelers
• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Propofol, Levophen, Dobutamine, Precedex, Fentanyl, Insulin, Esmolol, Versed, and Ketamine
• Must be comfortable reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Care for patients with DKA, septic shock, ETOH withdrawal, hypoxemia, acute respiratory distress, and COVID
• 2-week block scheduling managed by leadership with nights grouped 3-4 shifts in a row
• Every other weekend requirement
• May be required to work holidays if they fall on regularly scheduled shifts
• No call or standby requirements
• Float to IMCU, medical-surgical, or potentially ED if experienced
• Any color scrubs permitted
• 1-2 shifts orientation with preceptor
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
