Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• Weekend call rotation required
• On-call responsibilities after 9:00 PM and weekends
• Holiday requirements are on-call only
• Perform all types of ultrasound including vascular, OB (all three trimesters), and procedures
• Echo experience preferred but not required
• Average 10-15 scans/studies per day depending on hours worked
• Must have experience with general ultrasound, OB, and vascular imaging
• Work with 4 Toshiba ultrasound units (facility purchasing 2 new Phillips units)
• Use EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS systems
• No IV start requirements
• No self-scheduling available
• Must maintain 60-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA), RDCS-AE via ARDMS, RVT via ARDMS
• Week of orientation required in-state even if first day modules are remote
• Profile review and unit manager interview required for hiring process

Facility:

This acute care hospital features a comprehensive radiology department with modern ultrasound capabilities and 4 dedicated scanning rooms. The facility maintains a Level 3 trauma designation and utilizes advanced imaging technology to provide quality diagnostic services. The radiology department operates with experienced supervision and has radiologists in-house three days per week, ensuring excellent support for ultrasound technologists.
