Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with unit flexibility to meet guaranteed hours
• Weekend and holiday requirements
• On-call requirement with 30-minute response time for 14-16 days per month
• Float between Bryan and College Station campus locations (16 minutes apart) as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), MRT, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT)
• Must perform IV starts
• Black scrubs required dress code
• Perform various nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
• Average of 12 scans per day (cardiac studies = 2)
• Work with Siemens Symbia T6 equipment
• Use MEDITECH EMR system and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Call outs strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
• Radiologist in-house until 5pm, remote reads until midnight
