Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 (expect 1:6 ratio at least once per week)
• 42-bed medical surgical unit caring for medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
• Charge nurse available on each shift and takes patient assignments
• Handle titratable drips including Heparin
• Work with respiratory therapists available 24 hours on the floor
• Telemetry monitoring available on floor with centralized tele station
• Collaborate with nurse aides/patient care techs with ratios of 1:10-12
• Floating requirements to PCU or Burn units
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score
• First week classroom orientation followed by 2 twelve-hour shifts on the floor
• EPIC charting system
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
