Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Minimum 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required PLUS 1 year of charge experience
• Must have charge nurse experience and be able to float between Med-Surg and Telemetry units
• Patient ratios: Telemetry 1:5, Med-Surg 1:5-6
• Must be proficient with Epic EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS; PALS preferred
• Must work at least 2 of the 3 upcoming holidays
• Possibility of floating to ICU
• Handle patients with CHF, COPD exacerbations, NSTEMI, Afib, Sepsis, orthopedic surgeries, UTIs, and PEG tubes
• Work in acute care setting with all private rooms
• 32-bed telemetry unit and 32-bed med-surg unit with centralized monitoring
• Average daily census typically 17-19 patients
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts for contracts up to 12 weeks, 3 shifts for 13+ week contracts
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius
