Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Night shifts available with every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• First to float when needed within Med/Tele Acute/Obs/Swingbed units
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-6 on 19-bed unit
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have experience with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, NG tubes, and foley insertion
• Required to read own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
• Must be competent with respiratory equipment including BiPap, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula setup
• Care for patients with pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, and rehabilitation needs
• May participate as part of the code team
• Team scheduling approach with possible self-scheduling options
• Provide own scrubs in any color
• 3-4 twelve-hour orientation shifts required
• Chart using MEDITECH system
• BSN not required
• Previous travel experience not required
