Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 3 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment
• Provide care on 24-bed medical surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds
• Care for adult patients only (pediatric patients assigned to permanent staff)
• Must have strong neurological and cardiac nursing skills
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• PALS certification preferred
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights, 1:4 pediatrics based on acuity level
• Float to all medical surgical units and ICU for medical surgical overflow patients
• Use Allscripts Sunrise EMR system for documentation
• Work with support staff including telemetry technicians, charge nurses, health unit coordinators, and patient care technicians
• No IV team available - nurses perform all IV procedures
• Scrubs required in any color except all black (scrubs not provided)
• BSN degree not required
