Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement or as needed based on unit needs
• Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit affiliated facilities
• Nurse to patient ratios: 1:1-2 in ICU
• Required to titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Work with adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old
• Handle various diagnoses including neuro surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and renal failure
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Two shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Work in EPIC charting system
• Fast-paced environment with volume fluctuations
