Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• On-call requirements: 1-2 weeknight calls per week and 1 weekend call every 4th weekend
• May be placed in holiday call rotation
• 30-minute response time for call situations with 4-person team (2 RNs, 2 cardiovascular techs)
• Must have 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must have prior exposure to interventional radiology and peripheral vascular cases
• Experience required with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto equipment
• Must be comfortable with conscious sedation and airway management
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately required
• Perform pre-admission and post-care in holding areas, procedural nursing in lab, and PICC line insertion
• Handle cardiac procedures including PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, pacemaker implants, vascular and IR cases
• Work with mediports, dialysis catheters, and AAA stenting in hybrid lab
• Average 16 cases per day across 2 cath lab/IR suites, 1 hybrid room, and 7 holding rooms
• 2-3 shifts of orientation with preceptor provided
• Royal blue scrubs provided
• No floating requirements or BSN requirement
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license and live within 50-mile radius
• Charting system: Cerner Corporation Soarian, equipment: GE MacLab transitioning to Phillips Xper in 2025
