Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled
• 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 34-bed medical surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Required to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Titrate drips as needed
• May be required to float to other units
• Work with 2-5 certified assistants typically on shift
• Charge nurse and transport RN available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM at optimal staffing
• Royal blue scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• BLS certification required
• BSN degree not required
• Care for general medical surgical patients
• RT support available 24/7 with ventilators on unit
• Telemetry technicians post strips each shift
• 2 shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
