Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with options of 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• RNs circulate in procedures while RCIS/RTs monitor and scrub
• Work in 4-room facility with 2 cath labs, 1 IR, and 1 EP room
• Handle 15-20 cases per day on average
• Call requirement with 30-minute response time
• On-call schedule includes 1-2 days per week and every 4th weekend covering cath lab and IR
• RNs receive rotating day off and 4-day weekend every 5th weekend
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures required
• Balloon pump experience required
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment with quick turnover
• IR experience preferred but not required
• Professional solid-colored scrubs of any color required
• No floating between units
• Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 weeks
• Use MEDITECH 6.1 charting system
• Work with GE Maclabs recording station equipment
• Holiday coverage through call rotation with staff
• 75-mile rule strictly enforced
• No first-time travelers accepted
