Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with day/night rotation (mostly nights)
• Every other weekend requirement with holidays as needed
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 on 20-bed medical surgical unit
• 1-2 years of medical surgical nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must be comfortable titrating drips, particularly Heparin
• Care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, Sepsis, CIWA, SOB, and chest pain
• Work with CPAP and High Flow equipment (RT not in-house at night)
• Charge nurses take patient assignments on nights and occasionally during day shifts
• One CNA per shift available for support
• Float to ER, OB, ICU as helping hands when needed
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Use Meditech charting system
• BSN not required
• Block scheduling may be available depending on unit needs
• Previous travel experience recommended but not required
