Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (both must be AHA)
• Must live within strict 75-mile radius from hospital based on driver's license address
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Float to all acute care and cardio units for medical patients, or EC for acute care patient holds
• Work with telemetry patients (monitored on different unit)
• General orientation: 1 week (includes EMR training)
• Floor-specific orientation: 2 days
• Work with MEDITECH charting system (experience preferred but not required)
• Support from CNAs at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10
• BSN not required
