Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirements: 2-3 nights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2-3 holidays per year
• Typically do not float between departments
• Hospital scrubs provided
• 32-hour orientation period (4 shifts)
• Must have recent experience with heart catheterizations and peripheral catheterizations
• Experience with Philips equipment and McKesson preferred
• Work with Epic EMR system and Philips monitoring equipment
• Handle approximately 5 cases per day including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line placement, drain placement, and loop recorders
• Work in 2 labs, 1 hybrid room, and 6 bed recovery area with one lab featuring BiPlane technology
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active Illinois license required
• Must pass drug screening as part of drug-free campus policy
• Call-off policy allows equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty
