Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Self-scheduling system with requirement to fill open shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• One winter and one summer holiday requirement
• Patient ratios: 4:1 (50% of time) and 5:1 (50% of time)
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and Telemetry
• Must be able to titrate drips including insulin and pain medications
• Required to validate telemetry strips with centralized telemetry monitoring
• Floating requirements apply
• Possible standby requirements (no call)
• Work with medical/surgical overflow patients
• Use EPIC charting system
• Professional dress code required - clean, professional attire (no jeans)
• BSN not required
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

The unit is equipped with advanced monitoring technology including centralized telemetry, respiratory equipment such as BiPAP and high flow oxygen, and utilizes modern EPIC electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
