Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Team scheduling with possible self-scheduling or block scheduling options
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No call or standby requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3-6 on 19-bed unit
• Float to Med/Tele Acute/Obs/Swingbed units as needed
• First to float designation
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Medical and telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must be competent with IV starts, telemetry monitoring, NG tubes, and foley insertion
• Required to read own telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
• Must set up and be competent with BiPap, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
• Care for patients with pneumonia, COPD, CHF, pancreatitis, GI bleeds, and rehabilitation patients
• May participate as part of the code team
• Provide own scrubs in any color
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• Typically 3-4 twelve-hour orientation shifts
• BSN not required
