Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Provide care on 5N Medical/Surgical Medical Stroke unit
• Handle patient ratios of 1:5-6 with support from 3 PCTs
• Work in acute care setting with flexible capacity up to 35 beds
• Average daily census of 26-28 patients
• Care for patients with COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, occasional surgical overflow including thyroidectomy procedures
• Provide post-TPA care and lower level stroke care
• NIHSS certification or stroke experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience highly preferred
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Must submit unexpired copy of driver's license with application
• BSN degree not required
• Willing to wait for license verification
• Cancellation policy allows client to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
