Opportunity:
Monitor Tech - Monitor Tech
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend requirement may be every other weekend
• Holiday coverage if needed
• No call or standby requirement, but may be needed occasionally
• Monitor ratio of 1 monitor tech to 45-55 patients
• Must have basic EKG interpretation training and prior monitor tech experience required
• Must be able to stay organized and multitask effectively
• Strong communication skills essential
• Work with Philips and GE monitors
• Use Vocera and Mobile Heartbeat for communication with bedside staff
• Electronic medical record charting and documentation of q6hr measurements and interpretations
• Document findings as needed when events occur
• Make alarm adjustments per protocol
• Utilize chain of command when needed
• Scrubs or business casual dress code
• EKG test will be administered during orientation
• EPIC training and 3 days of orientation provided
• Break relief personnel and monitor tech lead available for support
• BLS certification not required

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
