Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation requirements
• One weeknight on-call shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM required
• One weekend day on-call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM per month required
• Holiday call coverage as needed
• Float to outpatient surgery center as needed
• Call response time requirement of 20 minutes
• Work in 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in operating room setting
• Handle average of 28 cases per day with 5 add-on cases including same-day surgery cases
• Work with all surgical cases except open heart procedures, including neuro spine, total joints, open fractures, general surgery, and ENT
• 2-3 years of OR experience required along with 2-3 previous travel assignments
• Orthopedic and neuroscience experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation provided
• No floating to other departments
• Driver's license address must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
