Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 depending on acuity
• Work in 10-bed unit (5 ICU & 5 Telemetry beds)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS
• NIHSS certification would be a plus
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Navy blue scrubs required (traveler must provide their own)
• Hair must be natural color, excessive tattoos must be covered
• May be required to float to Med/Surg with full assignment (ratios 1:5-6)
• Work with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Administer drips and work with Phillips cardiac monitors
• Care for patients ranging from trauma to surgical cases, COPD, and overdoses
• One shift orientation on unit with preceptor
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Must have positive attitude and willingness to work
