Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with some potential variability in start time
• Required to be on-call on a rotating basis approximately 10-12 days per month
• Call during the week is 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM the next day
• Weekend call is 24/7 rotating every 3rd weekend, starting 3:30 PM Friday until 7:00 AM Monday
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Must be willing to work holidays
• Handle 4-5 EP cases and 6-7 cath cases per day on average
• Work in 2 cath lab suites and 1 EP lab (currently under construction)
• Common procedures include PCI, pacemaker, STEMI, diagnostic, TAVR/Watchmans
• Must have minimum 1-2 years recent cath lab experience
• Experience in Coronary, Vascular, EP, and Neuro preferred
• Structural experience preferred but not required
• Must pass Arrhythmia Interpretation/Telemetry test at 85% prior to completion of orientation
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification, CA Rad Tech license, CA Fluoroscopy license
• Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
• Work with equipment including McKesson, Philips, and Siemens
• Position requires critical thinking, assessment skills, quick decision-making, effective communication, and ability to work under pressure
• NICOTINE-FREE facility - all drug reports must have negative nicotine/cotinine results
