Description
Opportunity:
RN - IR
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no call or weekend requirements
• Must have minimum 2 years of IR/Vascular Lab experience with 1 travel contract or 4 years without travel experience
• Work in 3 procedure rooms with pre/post recovery areas
• Handle 8-12 cases per day with 90% being outpatient procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must be comfortable with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring and sedation, and post-procedure recovery
• Prefer cardiac, ICU, or ER experience as patients are often critically ill
• Must be comfortable working with cardiac arrests and other emergency situations
• Common procedures include Lifeport, PICC lines, sonograms, fistulograms, cardiac catheterizations, declots, grafts, fistulas, balloon angioplasty, stents, and vein mapping
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Work with Phillips portable telemetry equipment
• Wear green or white scrubs
• Maximum 3-week floor-specific orientation
• Must live within 75-mile radius of facility
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
• Usually closed on holidays

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
