Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend as scheduled
• Holiday requirement if needed
• Float to all inpatient units based on competency including ICU, Step-down, and medical/surgical units
• Patient ratios vary by unit: Med/Surg 1:6, Step-down 1:4-5, ICU 1:2-3
• Required to titrate drips in step-down areas only including heparin, cardizem, nitro, cardene, insulin, dobutamine, dopamine, and others
• Med/Surg background required with step-down experience preferred
• Care for cardiac patients, ortho/neuro, surgical, and medical patients varying by unit
• Work with telemetry monitoring - monitor techs available, CVU reads own strips
• No call requirement, but standby may be required if census is down
• Call staffing office daily for unit assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Must submit driver's license with current permanent address
• Unit orientation: 3-4 shifts
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Charting system: EPIC
• BSN not required
