Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Must possess thorough knowledge of nuclear cardiology and ability to perform nuclear cardiology studies
• Prepare radioactive isotopes for injection
• Perform cardiac imaging and process images for physician review
• Perform daily backups on NMIS and maintain appropriate paperwork filing
• Start IVs in department and assist echo technicians
• Assist CHF Clinic with blood draws
• Maintain all records required by the NRC
• Enter daily cardiolite stress test encounters into Citrix for billing purposes
• Enter regular stress test and EECP encounters into Citrix when needed
• Complete yearly radiation safety video and quiz
• Complete yearly glucose monitor competencies
• Complete hospital yearly compliance competencies and Pyxis tutorial
• Must have valid unexpired driver's license (50 mile radius rule applies)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT-N)
• Charting system: EPIC
• BSN not required
• License required for submission

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
