Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM shift times for days
• Weekend requirements every other weekend (EOW)
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Maintain 1:2-3 nurse to patient ratios (1:5-6 when floated to IMC)
• Must have 3 years of ICU experience required
• Must have balloon pump experience
• Must be comfortable with ventilator management and drip titration
• Required to titrate drips including vasopressors, levophed, neo, epinephrine, nitroglycerin, heparin, and angiotensin
• Must be comfortable with respiratory distress, post-arrest, acute MI, balloon pumps, ventilators, and patients requiring vasopressor support
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Expected to troubleshoot respiratory equipment appropriately
• Floating required to any inpatient unit with travelers first to float
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner charting system
• 1 day general orientation plus 1 day with preceptor
• Must reside within 50-mile radius and provide copy of unexpired driver's license
• BSN not required but nursing license verification required

The facility uses advanced charting systems and maintains flexibility in scheduling with staff input on preferred schedules.
