Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend positions available: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Work on a 29-bed flex unit serving both medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 for step-down patients, 6:1 for medical-surgical patients
• Must be able to handle both step-down and medical-surgical patient assignments
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, and pain management PCAs
• Care for diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and ventilators
• Remote telemetry surveillance center available - RNs not required to read strips
• First priority for floating to other floor or step-down units
• Expected to work approximately half of all recognized holidays
• No call or standby requirements
• Dress code: any combination of royal blue and white scrubs
• Chart using EPIC system
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Open to both new and experienced nurses
