Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with every other weekend requirement
• Work on a 29-bed flex unit serving both medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Handle nurse-to-patient ratios of 3:1 for step-down patients or 6:1 for medical-surgical patients
• Manage diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, and various PCAs
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and ventilators
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation
• Remote telemetry surveillance center available - RNs not required to read their own strips
• Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment in use
• First to float to other floor or step-down units when needed
• Expected to work approximately half of all recognized holidays
• No call or standby requirements
• Dress code requires any combination of royal blue and white scrubs
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Open to both new and experienced nurses
• Unit currently under construction with opening planned for first quarter 2026
