Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float pool position covering multiple units including 6N (36 beds), 7N (29 beds), 4N (36 beds), 5S (36 beds), 6S (36 beds), and Critical Care (20 beds)
• Nurse to patient ratios typically 1:5-6 for both day and night shifts on most units
• Every-other-weekend requirement with Saturday/Sunday shifts for both days and nights
• Work in holiday rotation schedule with permanent staff
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Will not be required to titrate drips
• Care for patients with CHF, cardiac catheterization, chest pain, pneumonia, chronic renal disease, COPD, orthopedic, and oncology conditions
• Report to clinical coordinator's office prior to shift start for unit assignment
• Assigned basic telemetry patients within scope of practice
• 1-2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Work with CNAs on all units and Phillips telemetry monitoring system
• EPIC charting system
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius rule)
• 2 shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract
