Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• On-call responsibilities after 4:30 PM on weekdays (rotating)
• Rotating weekend call requirements
• Holiday on-call rotation with other staff
• May float to Mercy Downtown location (approximately 6.5 miles away)
• Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
• Average 5-10 scans/studies per day
• Work with one scanner/room in department
• Use GE equipment, Radnet & Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
• Chart using Cerner system
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), CNMT via NMTCB
• Radiologist available in-house
• IV starts not required
• Teal scrubs required (dress code)
• Hospital cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

The nuclear medicine department works closely with in-house radiologists and provides essential diagnostic imaging services to support patient treatment and care coordination.
