Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule
• Holiday rotation participation required
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Must have strong orthopedic experience, specifically with total joint replacements (not just fractures)
• Care for orthopedic patients including joints, replacements, and fractures
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Unit orientation of 1-2 shifts
• May float to other units including 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry monitoring available but RNs do not read strips
• No drip titration required
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Work on 22-bed orthopedic/telemetry unit with charge nurse available 24/7
• Support from 3 CNAs per shift with CNA ratio of 1:7-8
